A family-run floral atelier in the heart of Crete, with more than forty years in the craft of floral design and event decoration. Maria and Lazarus, both trained artisans, bring every vision to life by hand.
manfler is a wedding florist in Crete, Greece. From our family workshop near Rethymno we design and make the flowers for couples marrying on the island and across Greece: bridal bouquets that suit the dress and the season, ceremony arches that hold up to the island wind, long tables dressed for dinner under the stars, and installations that give a venue scenery of its own.
Every wedding starts with a conversation. Tell us your date, your venue and how many guests you are expecting, and we will design the flowers with you and your planner, then bring them to the venue and set everything up on the day.
Crete is home. We have been making wedding flowers here since 1978, in Rethymno, Chania, Heraklion, Hersonissos, Agios Nikolaos and Elounda, at hotels, estates, wineries, beaches and private villas.
Beyond the island, we have dressed weddings on the caldera in Santorini and on the Athens Riviera, and we are always happy to talk about somewhere new.

Yes. Our workshop is in Crete, and we make wedding flowers across Greece: all over Crete, in Santorini, in Athens and on the Athens Riviera, and we are happy to talk about other islands too.
We design each wedding for its own place and its own people, so we do not work from packages. As a gentle guide, couples marrying in Crete usually set aside €1,500 or more for their flowers, depending on what their design asks for. Beyond the island, where our team and the flowers travel with us, it usually begins at two to three times that. Tell us your date, your venue and your guests, and we will propose what we feel would be most beautiful for you.
As early as you can. The wedding season in Greece runs from about May to October, and Saturdays in June and September tend to go first, so booking a year ahead is common. It is always worth asking about a closer date, though.
Yes. Most of the weddings we make flowers for are organised by a planner, and we work alongside many of the planners in Crete, Santorini and Athens. We are just as happy to plan the flowers directly with you.
