Bold & dark weddings

Bold & dark weddings by manfler, the family wedding florist in Crete since 1978: six weddings in Crete and Santorini, newest first, each with its venue, planner and photographer.

20261 work

A bride in a lace-paneled ivory gown and a groom in a black velvet tuxedo embrace and smile at each other in front of a wooden double door, framed by towering floral arches of deep red roses, burgundy hydrangeas, cream roses and green hydrangeas. The bride holds a bouquet of red peonies and dark foliage. This is a wedding flower display at Agreco Farm in Greece, with a warm, romantic mood.

A bride in a flowing white gown laughs as a dark-suited groom lifts her slightly, both holding a bouquet of deep red roses, inside a tall triangular mirrored arch on a red carpet. Around them are red gerbera daisies, dark burgundy hydrangeas, red roses and red-leaved shrubs, with orchard trees reflected in the mirrors. This wedding flower design is for a wedding at Rethimno in Greece.

A bride in a strapless white ballgown with a beaded bodice and a long veil holds hands with a groom in a black tuxedo and bow tie, the two facing each other before a wedding arch at Islet Santorini in Greece. The arch is lush with deep burgundy hydrangeas, white phalaenopsis orchids, pale plumes and dark eucalyptus, framed by clusters of green hydrangea, with the soft blue of the Aegean sea and sky behind them.

A bride and groom stand hand in hand facing each other beneath a wedding arch at Nuez Villa in Greece, their gazes locked in a quiet moment. The arch is woven with white phalaenopsis orchids, peach-toned roses, deep burgundy foliage and wispy sprigs, and the sea glows pale behind them. He wears a grey houndstooth suit with a black bow tie, while she wears a long-sleeved white gown with lace detailing and a flowing veil, her hair swept into a low chignon.
