Classic weddings

Classic weddings by manfler, the family wedding florist in Crete since 1978: seven weddings in Crete and Santorini, newest first, each with its venue, planner and photographer.

Two people share a kiss at the very bottom edge of the frame, nearly lost among rows of young green grapevines that stretch up a gentle slope toward a pale dirt path and trees. The bride has long, loose hair with a delicate band, and the groom wears a dark suit with short, neatly styled hair. The rows of vines lead the eye into the distance under soft, natural light. This is a wedding photograph taken at Agreco Farms in Greece.

A bride and groom share a kiss beneath a tall doorway framed by lush arches of white hydrangeas, white garden roses and eucalyptus, while white petals drift through the air around them. The bride wears a voluminous white ball gown with off-the-shoulder long sleeves and a flowing veil, and holds a bouquet of lily of the valley wrapped in green foliage. The groom wears a black tuxedo and bow tie. Wedding flowers in Greece, with a warm, glowing interior behind them.

A bride in an off-the-shoulder white gown with a sculpted sleeve and a soft updo holds her groom's face in her hands as they share a tender moment, both smiling, while a brown horse with a white blaze and a dark ornate bridle stands close beside them against a pale stone wall. This is a wedding photograph taken in Greece, with no flower arrangements visible in the frame.

A bride in a white satin gown with a thigh-high slit raises a white bouquet of roses and eucalyptus high in one hand while holding hands with a groom in a white dinner jacket and black bow tie. They walk along a white aisle lined with tall white delphinium and hydrangea, with clear acrylic chairs beyond and the sea and distant hills under a soft cloudy sky, at Cavo Ventous, a wedding venue in Greece.

A bride and groom stand facing each other under a round arch completely covered in white blooms, mostly hydrangea and garden roses with airy sprays of baby's breath, at the Abaton Hotel in Greece. The groom, in a black suit with a white boutonniere, looks down as he slides a ring onto the bride's hand, while she gazes at him in her sleeveless gown with a tiered tulle skirt. Clear blue sky and a glimpse of the sea sit behind them, giving the scene a bright, romantic calm.

A bride and groom stand together under a tall white floral arch, the bride's head resting on the groom's shoulder as they look toward the camera. The arch is covered in white garden roses, orchids, and delicate sprays of baby's breath, and the couple is framed by green trees in soft focus at the wedding at Minos Beach Art Hotel in Greece. The bride wears a veil and an off-the-shoulder beaded white gown, while the groom wears a green suit and light trousers.

A joyful wedding recessional at Villa Amnalys in Greece, where the bride, in a fitted lace gown with a tiered train, raises a white orchid and baby's breath bouquet overhead while the groom in a white dinner jacket holds her hand. White petals drift through the air and carpet the black aisle, flanked by clear glass candle vases and guests in green and black formal wear, many smiling and applauding under a bright blue sky.
