Mediterranean weddings

Mediterranean weddings by manfler, the family wedding florist in Crete since 1978: four weddings in Crete, newest first, each with its venue, planner and photographer.

A bride and groom stand smiling between two tall floral arches at a wedding at Wine Dark Villas in Greece, framed by white Doric columns. The arches are packed with red and coral garden roses, orange ranunculus, pink hydrangeas, pale dahlias and sprays of green foliage. The groom wears a grey suit and the bride a flowing white gown, holding a bouquet of red and cream blooms, with the sea glimmering behind a stone balustrade under a clear sky.

A bride and groom share a kiss in a wash of pink smoke in front of a rose-coloured wall with a wooden door and lanterns, at a wedding in Greece. The bride, in a lace gown with a deep V neckline, holds a bouquet of blush garden roses, white blooms and trailing green eucalyptus. The groom wears a navy suit with a white boutonniere, and a smiling bridesmaid in a pale blue dress watches from the left.

A mirrored welcome sign on a wooden easel reads "Welcome to our wedding" with "Shay and Vedad" in large white lettering, and through the glass a blurred photograph of a bride in a fitted white gown and long veil kissing her groom in a cream suit, holding a loose bouquet of white roses and green foliage. This wedding sign is at Villa Imperial in Greece, set against a plain white wall.

A bride in a pale, lace-embroidered gown and a groom in a black tuxedo with bow tie stand smiling at each other in front of a whitewashed wall, beside a dramatic floral installation of pink and magenta blooms fading to orange and deep red. The bride carries a bouquet of cream roses, pink ranunculus and blue hydrangea, and the scene is wedding flowers at Markakis Estate in Greece.
