Weddings with string lights

Weddings with string lights by manfler, the family wedding florist in Crete since 1978: seven weddings in Athens, Crete and Santorini, newest first, each with its venue, planner and photographer.

A couple shares a kiss beneath a sweeping wedding arch at Lake Vouliagmeni in Greece, framed by flowers that fade from blush pink roses and dusky lilac hydrangeas on the left to burnt orange roses and soft yellow blooms on the right. Trailing eucalyptus and greenery wind through the curve, and white roses and hydrangeas fill the base. The bride, in a fitted lace gown with a long veil, leans in while the groom in a navy suit holds her close, and a smiling man in a light blue suit claps beside them against a soft pink rocky backdrop.

A wedding table setting in a lush garden in Greece, with a green and white patterned cloth, pink plates and lilac candles in glass hurricanes. Behind it, tall floral arrangements of pink roses, peonies and dahlias on wooden stands rise among leafy green plants and sunflowers, with rows of cross-back chairs stretching into the greenery.

Where Celebration Meets Nature

A bride in a white off-the-shoulder satin gown and a groom in a navy blazer and cream trousers walk hand in hand down an aisle, laughing as guests on both sides throw pale peach and white rose petals into the air. Behind them stands a white floral arrangement of hydrangeas and roses, with hazy hillsides and a bright sky beyond, at Aenaon Villas wedding ceremony in Santorini, Greece.

A bride in a strapless white satin gown with a full skirt walks away from the camera, past a long outdoor wedding table set beneath three crystal chandeliers. Along its edge, tall purple delphinium spires rise above drifts of pink garden roses, and clusters of deep red bougainvillea and tall grasses frame her path on the green lawn. This is a wedding table at Island Athens Riviera in Greece, with glassware and candles glowing in the dusk.

A bride and groom stand together under a tall white floral arch, the bride's head resting on the groom's shoulder as they look toward the camera. The arch is covered in white garden roses, orchids, and delicate sprays of baby's breath, and the couple is framed by green trees in soft focus at the wedding at Minos Beach Art Hotel in Greece. The bride wears a veil and an off-the-shoulder beaded white gown, while the groom wears a green suit and light trousers.
