Sunset weddings

Sunset weddings by manfler, the family wedding florist in Crete since 1978: eight weddings in Santorini and Crete, newest first, each with its venue, planner and photographer.

A woman in a heavily beaded, sheer-sleeved gown and a jewelled tiara leans over a green velvet chair at a long wedding table at iIslet in Santorini, Greece. Low tables of mixed flowers in plum, coral and blush, including allium, dahlias and gladioli, fill the foreground, while tall floral installations and crystal chandeliers glow above the room. Pillar candles and frosted glass globes add warm light to the soft, neutral setting.

The bride wears a beaded ivory gown with a plunging neckline and a pearl vine in her hair, while the groom wears a black tuxedo with a small white boutonniere, his head leaning against hers. Their hands are clasped at her waist, and the glowing backlight gives the moment a tender, romantic feel.
